FAQ

1. How much does therapy cost?

Sessions are €60 for 50 minutes. Single Session Therapy is €140 for up to 90 minutes.

.

2. How many sessions will I need?

It is hard to be specific with the amount of sessions someone needs because everyone is different, however, we would suggest giving yourself 6 sessions as a starting point.  We say this because this would allow enough time to see if you connect with the therapist and decide that you are getting what you what from the sessions.

3. How can I pay?

Sessions can be paid for via bank transfer, cash or Revolut.  Payment is usually in advance of the session (with the exception of cash).

4. Do I have to come weekly?

No, it is not expected that you have to come weekly.  Everyone's circumstances are different and so finances, family commitments, work commitments and time to process are all factors to be considered.

5. Can I resolve my difficulties alone?

We have provided some really useful tools here, all of which are tools that many therapists use with clients.  Some people are able to take the information and tools, apply them and see the benefits without the help of someone else.  This is not possible for everyone.  Not because you are not clever enough or not trying hard enough, its more because perhaps your level of difficulties are more impactful than another persons, or sometimes because we are so deep in our own stuff, it can be hard to 'see the wood for the trees' so to speak and so having the therapist perspective can make the difference.

6. What is Single Session Therapy?

Single Session Therapy is different to the more traditional approach to counselling and therapy.  It is a one off session where the focus is on one specific problem or issue.  We can get stuck sometimes and in these sessions we are looking to get unstuck, The client and therapist work together with this aim.  At the end of the session you will hopefully have an idea or plan of what to do with your problem or issue.  You are then encouraged to try out this idea or plan for at least 4-6 weeks.  If you feel you need further help at this point you are welcome to return.
